5.0 star star star star starCarina is amazing, and I hope NM knows that and treats/pays her accordingly. She listens carefully, always, and -- like Dr. [ ] -- conveys that she has as much time to give as one needs and that there is nothing more important to her in that moment than taking care of the person in front of her. In these kinds of evaluations, I tend to comment more on what may be considered "soft" skills, but her clinical skills are equally impressive. She knows virtually everything I ask her about, and on the exceedingly rare occasions she doesn't, she finds out for me. I am more grateful for her than I can say.

5.0 star star star star starVery comfortable with her and she answers my questions honestly and very competent during the exam and she makes me feel comfortable, relaxed and doesn't make me feel like she's in a hurry even though I'm sure she's busy.

External Professional Relationships
Pharmaceutical, device, and biotechnology companies frequently collaborate with basic scientists and physicians within an academic medical center to help advance science and improve patient care. These relationships are important in achieving scientific breakthroughs and in establishing the effectiveness and safety of promising new therapies. In order to assure objectivity in clinical research and patient care, the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Feinberg), Northwestern Memorial HealthCare, Children's Hospital of Chicago Medical Center, and the Shirley Ryan AbilityLab have adopted integrity policies that require research and clinical faculty (in full-time, part-time, and unpaid/voluntary categories) to report compensated and uncompensated external industry relationships. Patients are encouraged to discuss these disclosures with their physician as well as to inquire as to how these relationships are overseen by Feinberg.
